The FahrPlaner app offers a comprehensive solution for individual mobility, encompassing public transport, bike-sharing, car-sharing, taxi services, and walking. With accuracy down to the meter and minute, it provides regional and countrywide coverage.

For travelers in Germany, the app offers mobile tickets for all of Germany with Deutschland-Ticket, as well as tickets for public transport services within the Bremen/Northern Saxony transport association (VBN), South-Lower Saxony transport association (VSN), and regional trains within the Niedersachsentarif (Lower Saxony).

The app's route planning feature allows users to search for places, destinations, addresses, or stops within Bremen, Lower Saxony, Hamburg, and Rostock, with comprehensive train information for all of Germany. Users can choose from various transportation options including trains, buses, trams, walking paths, bikes, bike-sharing (nextbike), car-sharing (cambio), and taxis.

The RouteWAY feature provides information about booking offices and points of interest along the selected route. Real-time forecasts for connections and departures are available through RouteTIME. Users can stay informed about the current traffic situation for their subscribed connections through push messages with RouteALARM.

Additionally, the app provides price information for public transport tickets in Niedersachsentarif (Lower Saxony), VBN (Bremen/Lower Saxony), and other transport associations through RouteCOST.

Information about access rights:

• The app can access your contacts to enable selecting an address as a starting point or destination for the connection search function. You can change this access right at any time via the settings.
• The access to the camera is necessary for personalizing icons with your own photos used for "My addresses" and for adding photos to send via the feedback form in the app.
• Based on your location, the app can show you preferred stations and connections near you.
• If you decide to subscribe to the push service, an anonymous device ID will be stored on their server to send you the requested information.

These access rights are solely used for their intended purpose, and your consent can be changed anytime through app or system settings. More information about their privacy policy can be found within the app and at their website www.vbn.de/privacy-fahrplaner-app.

Please note that the newest features, updates, and intermodal information are only available for devices running Android 6.0 and above. Users with older devices can still use older versions of the app, although no support is provided for those devices.
